Do you care for someone with an Eating Disorder?

The Eating Disorders Foundation Inc (EDF) and the Mental Health Council of Australia (MHCA) invite famiy and friends of people who have an eating disorder to be part of an ongoing united voice expressing carer needs and experiences.

How? Come to the Workshop!

  • Hear and speak to other family and friends of someone wiht an eating disorder
  • Ask questions of a panel of local guest speakers
  • Be part of an Australia-wide ‘Snapshot’ of mental health carer issues this year and every year

The ‘Snapshot’ will be used to advocate for better outcomes for people who care for someone with a mental illness, such as an eating disorder, and to demonstrate over time, any improvements for mental health carers where more works needs to be done.

Family and friends of people with an eating disorder are invited to attend a free workshop.

The wider experience of participants, the more diverse experiences will be heard and used to improve policy and programmes for carers nationally.
