The Eating Disorders Foundation Inc was established in 1991 as an organisation with a statewide mandate. As an incorporated organisation headed by our CEO, we are fortunate to have a highly qualified board of directors, including Profs Stephen Touyz and Phillipa Hay, who are world authorities on eating disorders.
We currently receive no government funding and we are almost entirely reliant on the funds raised by our annual fundraiser - The Pearl Ball - and on private philanthropy.

The Eating Disorders Foundation Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1984.
The foundation was endorsed as a deductible gift recipient on the 1st July 2000 as a Public Benevolent Institution under subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. DGR 451634.
The Foundation has a current Authority to Fundraise issued by the NSW Department of Gaming and Racing. CFN 16326
